Printing method is based on transfer of image from a photopolymer plate using of a silicone tampon. The image transferred by such method has high precision and allows to print minimum possible sizes inaccessible to other techniques. It is used at the press on souvenir products.
The image size, as a rule, is no more than 5-7 centimeters that limits its use by small surfaces like handles, lighters, keychains, ashtrays, cases of devices, etc. Due to the elasticity of the tampon, it is possible to print on uneven surfaces. Tampon just envelops the surface causing the paint into all the pores.
